Thriving And Not Just Surviving Your Postpartum
What is the postpartum period really like? We spend lots of time planning the perfect birth scenario while often over looking the postpartum period. Join us while we blend the professional and the personal experience, the DIY and the helping hands of others.
In this full day workshop, the first half will be focusing on creating a postpartum plan that will work for you and your family. During the second half we'll be putting our hands to use. The midwives will show you and your partner how to encapsulate your own placenta and how to bind your belly using the Bengkung method. Upon leaving this event, you will have a postpartum plan, a placenta encapsulation kit and a wrap to bind your belly after your baby arrives.
