Peninsula Rhythm & Blues Festival
Once again, the Long Beach Peninsula will host the region's finest blues musicians, September 15 & 16 at Wilson Field, home of the Beach Barons car club in Ocean Park, Washington. Friday's performers are The Tim Kelly Band, from Seaside, Oregon, The Hudson Rocket Band out of Portland, Oregon, and North Coast Blues, from right here on the peninsula.
Saturday gets rocking at noon with the Bottleneck Blues Band, Tracey Fordice Band, Blind Wolf, and Franco Paletta and the Stingers.
The Humane Society of Pacific County will be serving up adult beverages to benefit their wonderful animal shelter, and there will be food vendors, from BBQ to seafood.
Tickets are $15 for Friday's show and $18 for Saturday.
