WSU Cultivating Success - Sustainable Small Farming and Ranching Course
First in the Cultivating Success series, this course gives students a broad overview of production and marketing options for today's small farms. Whether you are an established farmer seeking to sustain your existing operations or are a beginning farmer interested in sustainable production and whole farm planning. This course is a great way to connect with the local farming community and the resources that exist to support your farm.

Course presenters include successful local producers and university specialists with expertise in direct marketing, integrated pest management, production planning, ecological soil management, livestock and more. This is a multi-county collaborative course offered through presentations, video conference, in-class activities and two additional field days to learn about different styles of successful small farm enterprises.

Class size is limited and pre-paid registration is required. This course is taught in collaboration with Skagit Valley College ENVAG 270.

The course will be offered in English with Spanish language interpretation provided at the Skagit location. Extension programs and policies are available to all without discrimination. To request disability accommodations contact us at least ten days in advance.

Course cost $260 per farm for up to 3 people.
