On the Wings of a Cello: Somatic Movement Workshop with Jackie Diner, Tracy Goldenberg, and Jami Sieber
Unleash your creativity and passion in a two-hour facilitated movement workshop set to the live accompaniment of internationally renowned Electric Cellist/ Vocalist Jami Sieber. Through stillness, movement meditation, and the organic play of our bodies in the sonic landscape of cello and voice, we will journey through our own bodies and into the body of the collective pulse. Jami is joined by Joy in Motion founder, Jackie Diner and Tracy Goldenberg to present a Somatic Workshop On the Wings of Cello on Sept. 24 from 2:30-4:30pm.

Electric cellist and vocalist Jami Sieber reaches inside the soul with compositions that are contemporary, timeless, lush, and powerfully evocative. Her style of performance has been recognized internationally. Her music transforms from the deepest stillness to moving melodies and rhythms that light the soul on fire. Her life-long commitment to the environment, social justice, and the healing arts is at the heart of her music, reflecting a deep dedication to the arts as a medium of exploration and awareness of the interconnectedness of all beings.
Movement Facilitators ~ Jackie Diner is a Studio Owner, Black Belt Nia instructor, MELT Method instructor, and on the Nia Training Faculty. Jackie loves to play, her lifes work has been engaging children to help them find joy in moving their bodies thru dance, gymnastics and everyday living. Over the last 14 years through teaching Nia she has expanded to working with all ages, believing strongly that your body can always change! Tracy Goldenberg, MA, R-DMT, is a Nia instructor, Somatic Psychotherapist, Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Mind/Body Educator. She completed her Nia certification in 2004 and has studied various movement modalities including: modern dance, Yoga, Authentic Movement, Bharata Natyam, and Pilates for over 20 years. Tracy is an adjunct professor at Naropa University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate coursework on embodied movement, clinical neuroscience, psychology, and the mind-body connection. Tracy truly embodies a unique marriage of the art and science of the body.
