Corazón SoundWave Meditation
Natalia Perlaza will join longtime musical and spiritual companions Kai Altair & Joe Pepitone to accompany you on a magick carpet ride through the 4 elements using a broad range of instruments, vocals, and sacred songs. The intention is to leave ordinary reality behind, and embrace deep aspects of yourself that are one with the forces of creation. Using breath, movement, and gentle techniques applied to the body, Natalia, Kai, and Joe will help facilitate a healing passage through an adventure in sound.
Natalia Perlaza is the creatrix of the Corazon SoundWave Meditation. She holds a reputation for being a creative percussionist who is sought after for her ability to play in many different musical situations including drumming for dancers, performing artists and teachers. Her collection of instruments includes a number of percussion instruments predominantly from the Near East such as the dumbek, frame drum, riq and Persian zarb. She also performs on the didgeridoo and uses various bells and shakers in creative ways during artistic and spiritual collaborations. Natalia teaches astral projection techniques and has lectured at major spiritual centers. Combining her sense of heart connection and drumming, she seemingly opens new portals to dimensions of imagination by embracing the very essence of Sound: To Play. Cuando Se Nos So no se Jugaba.
Kai Altair is a musician influenced by transformational culture, myth, and dreams. Based in Brooklyn, she performs with a rotating cast of musicians, performance artists, and sound healers at venues, warehouse parties, and festivals around the country. Kai is a Reiki Master, Shamanic Practitioner and student of ancient musical, movement, and healing traditions. She creates a gentle, compassionate, and playful environment for personal growth and healing, and loves to journey with people exploring inner realms of spirit. Her intention is to inspire connection to the multiverse, and help create an elevated state on and off the dance floor.
Joe Pepitone is a lifelong enthusiast of sound and its power to help us recover our optimal state of mind, body and spirit. With a passion for ancient philosophy & history his interest lies in finding connections from the past that can inform our path into the future. He is an Assistant Instructor of Tai Chi & Qigong and Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Brooklyn based non-profit Qi Tao.
