Language of School Advocacy - UInderstanding Formal Assessments
Module 5: Assessments This is a hands-on event- if you have ever wondered what assessments really say about your child and were afraid to ask,or want to know how to track your child's progress, this module is for you.
Summary: For parents, caregivers and professionals wanting to know how to read and understand formal and informal assessments. Learn how to apply information gained in the home and school. Explore how assessments propel your childs academic future and how to navigate it in the right directions. Bring your childs evaluations, parents who participate in this hands-on workshop will learn how to use the valuable information on their childs special education evaluation report to determine how well the Individualized Education Program (IEP) addresses the childs unique needs.
