Summer Showcase at BIMA

This local talent packed showcase is followed by the first Annual "Arts in the Park" (AITP) free community event featured earlier that day from 11a-2p at Eagle Harbor Dock's Waterfront Park. AITP will showcase live en plein air artists creating their works live at this event within 4 hours. Artists donate their pieces to Arts Humanities Bainbridge (AHB), a 501c3 non-profit organization in supporting their Individual Artist Fund campaign.

This one stop shop showcase promises a rich variety of performances that allows a two ticket option for either the Showcase ($25) or just the Art In the Park Silent Auction reception party ($15pp). The reception includes a silent auction. Art auction preview starts at 6p with wrap up and winners announced at 8p.

Contemporary performances by Rick Barrenger and Gerald Braude; followed with vinyl DJ sets by, Sidecar spinning a mix of 60's, Jazz-Lounge & Retro in the main gallery reception area.

Summer Showcase performances by local artists include photography slideshow to music compiled by the SoundArts Project featuring Alisa Steck, Thomas Maggiolino; Theater spotlight by Imagined Reality; 7 piece Jazz performance by Marvin Hoffert Jazz band, I AM Halo Multi-Media Visual and performing arts instillation. Showcase includes a 30m intermission at 7:30 for the silent art auction's last call.
