Fabio Mittino and Bert Lams performing Music of Gurdjieff/De Hartmann
Fabio Mittino and Bert Lams are excited to bring you their new project: transcriptions of music by Gurdjieff/de Hartmann arranged for two guitars. Gurdjieff was a philosopher of Russian/Armenian descent. He had the remarkable gift of remembering music he had heard during his travels in Asia and the Middle East. Many years later he sang and played the melodies to Russian composer, Thomas De Hartmann; together they created over 200 pieces between 1918 and 1927.
