Puppets and Pints Summer Camp #1
What's great about learning to build a hand and rod puppet (muppet) from scratch is that you can build more, and more, and more forever!
The basics of puppet design, construction, function, and use are what we teach, and the character is all up to the student.
For three days at the Pocket Theater, each student gets to sketch out their puppet design and set to work with pattern tracing, fur cutting, some hand sewing, hot gluing...building their own puppet creation!
We'll get to work together on stage and learn how to make our puppets come to life with some puppet-prov and mini performance.
