This webinar, led by fundraising expert and performance producing consultant Ariel Glassman, covers the most critical factors in crowdfunding success for artists. We'll explore how to choose the best crowdfunding platform for your campaign and the strategies and tactics to put you on the path to beating your fundraising goals.

Instructor: Ariel Glassman
Ariel Glassman has lived and breathed fundraising and the arts for the past 15 years. A lifelong musician, she is deeply committed to using her professional skills to advance the creative sector. As a performance producing consultant, Ariel has advised many Seattle and west coast artists on producing and fundraising for theater, dance, and film, including: Ahamefule J. Oluo, Sarah Rudinoff, Erin Pike, Paul Budraitis, ilvs strauss, Ella Mahler, Peter Donnelly, Catherine Cabeen, Kyle Loven, and Quinton Morris. In her fundraising career and work as a consultant for nonprofit organizations with The Ostara Group, Ariel has worked with arts organizations and programs of all sizes and disciplines, including On the Boards, TeenTix, Northwest Film Forum, SIFF, Seattle Men's and Women's Choruses, Kirkland Performance Center, ACT Theatre, Café Nordo, Reel Grrls, and more. She has taught workshops and seminars for the Seattle Foundation, ArtsFund, Seattle's Office of Arts & Culture, Shunpike, SeattleWorks, SQUID Management, and 501Commons. Ariel believes that all fundraising can be joyful, but she particularly enjoys crowdfunding campaigns and individual giving because they help artists take control of their financial future.
Refunds and Transfers:
Artist Trust reserves the right to cancel any program. If cancelled, a full refund will be applied. If a participant needs to cancel for a paid program, the following policy will apply:
A full refund can be issued through Brown Paper Tickets if notified within 5 days of the program date.
A transfer credit of equal or lesser value can be issued if notified within 48 hours of program. Credit will be valid for up to 12 months.
Artist Trust cannot provide refunds for missed programs. Please contact Zach Frimmel at zach@artisttrust.org if you have any questions regarding specific content of the program.
