Bay Area Zeta Player's presents Evil Dead: The Musical

Five college students spend the weekend in an abandoned cabin in the woods, accidentally unleashing an evil terror. In this comedic take on the 1980s horror franchise, characters and demons sing and dance to songs written specifically for the musical. And, as in the films, Ash is there to dish out his various one-liners and fight the never-ending demons.The musical takes creative liberty with the plot line of the movies, mixing together the characters and concepts of all three, as well as changing sequences for the sake of the stage and comedic intent.

Bay Area Zeta Players is a student-run theatre company designed to give high school students in the Bay Area a chance to produce, direct, and design theatre without the management of adults. BAZP is designed to create a happy and healthy environment for teens who wish to be independent and productive. Students are offered an opportunity to run a show independently and learn skills that can be used to pursue theatre, design, or management. BAZP is home to three programs: Nerdology Musical Theatre which produces a summer musical with a pop culture twist, the 10 Minute Play Festival which produces short plays written by teens, and a fall straight play.
