VanPort Jazz with Tony Starlight
North Willamette Valley Friends of Music is again sponsoring a Wednesday night series of big band jazz concerts on the outdoor patio at Aurora Colony Vineyards. VanPort Jazz will be performing as part of this series on August 2nd, from 7 to 9 pm.
VanPort Jazz is a Vancouver-based big band, playing all types of big band music from traditional Glenn Miller tunes to more modern styles. The band is a tight group of semi-pro and ex-pro players.
VanPort Jazz is teaming up with Tony Starlight to present an exciting show in the style and tradition of Frank Sinatra and Count Basie. This is a unique opportunity to hear Tony Starlight front a dynamic big band.
