Emily Scott Robinson (http://www.emilyscottrobinson.com/):
With a clear, sweet voice, Emily Scott Robinson will leave you breathless with songs that are both heart-wrenching and dark, playful and inspiring. She writes with raw lyrical power and authenticity, enchanting audiences with tales of her Southern upbringing and travels across the country in a motorhome.
In 2017, Emily was featured on PRI's show "The World" for her single, "Traveling Mercies." She was also named a winner of the 2017 Wildflower Festival Performing Songwriter Contest. In 2016, Emily won the Grassy Hill New Folk competition at Kerrville Folk Festival, in addition to an Honorable Mention in the 2016 Telluride Troubadour Contest. In 2015, she won first place and her Gibson guitar in the American Songwriter May/June Lyric Contest, as well as an Honorable Mention in the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Songwriter Showcase.
Emily released her debut album, Magnolia Queen, in February 2016. She is currently touring full time, living on the road with her husband in their motorhome, writing and performing across the country.
Bethel Steele (http://www.bethelsteele.com):
Americana-inspired singer songwriter Bethel Steele has traveled from Portland, Maine to Austin, Texas slinging songs, sharing stories, smiles and hugs with listeners. Bethel was born and raised in upstate New York and now resides in Fort Collins, CO. While exploring the intrinsic beauty in whiskey-soaked one night stands, the stories of thrill-seekers and the unrelenting passage of time, Steeles songs will pick you up, set you to soar, and deliver you safely back to your seat.
Steele's songwriting has been showcased at national and local festivals. Bethel is a two-time Kerrville New Folk Finalist (Texas, 2013 & 2016), a Wildflower! Singer-Songwriter Competition Winner (Texas, 2016), a Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Songwriter Showcase Finalist (2016) and has performed at Bohemian Nights at New West Fest and FoCoMX, Fort Collins' own music festivals. Steeles newest release is an EP called "Shadows and Light." Kelly Walker, Folk DJ of the Sundilla Radio Hour (WKCC, WITH), says this of the new project: "Bethel draws the listener in with songs that are clearly intensely personal, but reveal themselves to be true for us all. You cannot help but be moved and perhaps changed a little for the better in listening to them."
