John Latini & the Flying Latini Brothers concert
Dhaseleer Events Barn - Black Cat Concert Series would like to welcome you to attend a concert by John Latini & the Flying Latini Brothers.
John Latini is a native of New York but has called Michigan home for over 30 years. He is a 3-time solo Detroit Blues Challenge Winner, and also has been recognized for his songwriting with accolades in Michigan, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Utah, Texas and New Mexico.
John released his 5th record of songs at the end of December in 2016. This one is his first full length blues album called "The Blues Just Makes Me Feel Good." Within 10 days of the release to radio, it was included in Goldmine's Cool Rootsy Releases of 2016 and received 41 shining reviews to date including one in No Depression. The record debuted at #12 on the RMR Top 50 All Blues Chart, #5 on the Top 50 Contemporary Blues Chart, and #1 on the Michigan All-Genre Chart in the same week. His efforts also resulted in 4 nominations on the final ballot of the Detroit Music Awards.
With the Flying Latini Brothers, he leads the band through his own blues and roots rock catalog of songs working the audience into a frenzy and then swinging them in a different direction with music from the Great American Songbook. The band includes brother Jim Latini on vocals and drums, John Sperendi on bass, Neil Donato on keys, and Ross Huff on trumpet.

The Black Cat Concert Series is held inside the Dhaseleer Events Barn located 3 miles from Charlevoix, MI. The Events Barn, built in 1874 has been remodeled into a wedding & concert venue. Carl & Cornelia Dhaseleer enjoy hosting the events and invite you to bring family and friends to enjoy the evening on the farm. We provide tables and chairs if you want to bring your own picnic.
