Bed Bugs in Chicago @ Thurgood Marshall Library
Regional workshops that provide the Chicago community with the information needed to control bed bugs.
This presentation is designed for anyone interested in addressing bed bug issues in their building. It will provide a general overview of the problem and reasonable solutions for controlling and treating and infestation.
Agenda will include: 1. Chicago's bed bug ordinance: Who's responsible for what? 2. Creating and implementing a bed bug policy for your building or organization 3. Preventing bed bug infestations in your home or building 4. Basic treatment strategies used to control bed bugs 5. What to expect from a pest control operator
Who should attend: tenants, landlords, building managers (especially of residential facilities), managers of client service organizations, housekeeping staff, building maintenance staff. While more in depth than the general public needs, anyone who is interested in the topic is welcome to attend.
