Salve and Tincture Making at the Food Forest
Come make your own remedies in an outdoor garden setting right in the city! Participants will go home with a salve and tincture, all materials provided. Learn how to build your own apothecary using local ingredients.
Classes are held rain or shine as thats part of living in the PNW. Wear weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes. Bring your own bottle of water to stay hydrated. Children and dogs are welcome as long as they can make it through a 2 hour class.
Bios
Diana Lynn Law is a Pacific NW herbalist. She loves tending growing things, creativity and Science. Her classes are a combination of Folk Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and science-based study. Empowering people to build their own relationships with plants and create their own well being are integral parts of her classes. She has been practicing Herbalism in the Pacific NW for about 5 years, while continuing to study.
Jackie Cramer is a professional Permaculture landscaper and one of the founding members of the Beacon Food Forest. She is an experienced teacher who teaches a variety of classes including how to build Food Forests.
