Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 4

The FSO opens its 60th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of a new work by George Mason University faculty composer Mark Camphouse, honoring the 275th Anniversary of Fairfax County.

Voted by Musical America as one of the most influential musicians today, renowned cellist Amit Peled returns to celebrate the FSOs Anniversary Season with the Elgar Cello Concerto. Peled plays the historic 1733 Goffriller cello once played by the legendary Pablo Casals... How could I, a simple man, son of farmers from a tiny kibbutz in Israel, hold now the instrument that helped Casals redefine cello history?"
