One night only, Matt Brown at Bertelsen Winery in the beautiful Skagit Valley.
Matt Brown is an old soul, with a voice seasoned by influences such as Ray Charles and Bill Withers and guitar styling steeped in the tradition of Eric Clapton and John Mayer. Growing up in the small dairy town of Washougal, Washington, Browns love for music began as a child, soaking in the classic melodies of The Beatles and Roy Orbison that filled the house. During college, Brown fell in love with the guitar, and the rest is history. Since then, Brown has played hundreds of shows, toured Europe, opened for legends like Huey Lewis and Chris Isaak, recorded 5 albums, TV/FILM placements, and journeyed to Nashville to continue developing his craft of songwriting. Browns songs are fresh but familiar and tend to move the heart as much as the head and feet, grabbing the attention of the young and old. Brown recently signed with Rock Ridge Music to release his new album, Walk Into The Light.
The evening will also feature wines and beer on tap for purchase from Bertelsen Winery. Bare Bones Bar B Q will have pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, coleslaw, baked beans and more. Sushi by Chin will feature a variety of locally sourced seafood for your favorite sushi delights.
Simply Sweet Cupcakes will be there with a tasty dessert bar.
Free parking, outside and inside seating, feel free to bring your back lawn chairs and blankets. No pets or children under the age of 21. No outside food or drink please.
Tickets will be available at the door the evening of the event for $30 per person.
