Boheme Brings More Opera and Broadway to Diamond's of Pennington
On Wednesday, June 21, from 6 - 9pm, join Boheme Opera NJ for an amazing evening of sumptuous food and world-class voices - an entertainment event featuring a trio of young accomplished singers in an intimate dinner setting. Four sets of well-known opera and Broadway will be interspersed throughout four courses of Italian cuisine by Diamond's of Pennington, 25 Route 31 South, Pennington, NJ 08534.  

Boheme Opera dinner soirees are historically known for their intimate fun settings, introducing emerging and established artists to dinner patrons. Our trio will be announced shortly.

Diamond's has planned a fabulous 4-course dinner:

-Caesar chopped romaine with garlic crostini

-Capellini filletto di pomodoro - angel hair pasta with plum tomatoes, prosciutto and basil

ENTREES
-Sautee'd Filet Mignon Tips with mushrooms & gorgonzola cheese in a Marsala wine sauce
-Half Roasted Chicken in Italian seasonings until golden brown & topped with bacon
-Tilapia Filet Francaise, dipped in egg and sauteed in a lemon and butter sauce
-Vegetarian Special Request - Eggplant Parmigiana
{All entrees served with roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables}

-Assortment of homemade desserts

This event will take place in Diamond's beautiful Sapphire Room.  With limited seating, make your reservations early!

We have assembled a fabulous trio of singers:

SOPRANO SUNGJI KIM has sung over 20 opera roles at the venues of the Castleton Music Festival under Lorin Maazel, San Francisco Opera, Annapolis Opera, Concert Opera Philadelphia, Boheme Opera NJ, Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall and Berliner Philharmonie Grosser Saal.  As a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Ms. Kim has also received her Doctorate from the Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, and has won prestigious competitions, including the Liederkranz Foundation, James Parkinson Foundation and the Paul Robeson Vocal Competition. With Boheme Opera, Ms. Kim has sung Norina (Don Pasquale), Musetta (La Boheme) and Rosina (The Barber of Seville).

TENOR JAMES PRICE has appeared on opera, musical theatre and concert stages across the world, including the Macao International Music Festival, Finland's Savonlinna Opera Festival, Hawaii Opera Theatre, Shanghai Symphony Hall, with concerts in Chicago, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Belgium, Netherlands, as well as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Founder of Opera Maui, Mr. Price has sung Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus and Tamino in The Magic Flute with Boheme Opera NJ, Gustl in The Land of Smiles with Opera Hong Kong and in Shanghai, Schmidt in Werther in Berlin, and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Mass in C Major in Honolulu.  The former Artistic Administrator of Hawaii Opera Theatre, Mr. Price is the Advisor to the Artistic Director of Opera Hong Kong, and Artistic Advisor of Nickel City Opera in Buffalo, New York.

BARITONE CHARLES SCHNEIDER has performed more than 30 roles throughout the country since his professional debut in the summer of 1999 as the Baron in Verdi's La Traviata with The Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He made his debut with Boheme Opera NJ as Schaunard in La Boheme, followed by Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus and El Dancairo in Carmen.  Memorable career roles include Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Ford in Falstaff, Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore, Michele in Il Tabarro and Scarpia in Tosca. Mr. Schneider also enjoys a thriving teaching schedule and is on the voice faculties of Westminster School of the Arts of Rider University and The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, NJ.

PIANIST SANDRA MILSTEIN PUCCIATTI is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Boheme Opera NJ. The Philadelphia-born pianist and opera lecturer has appeared as piano soloist, duo-pianist and featured performer with orchestra, in chamber music ensembles and in master class in the United States and Canada, highlights of which include New York's American Landmark Festival, the Torrance Performing Arts Center in California and the Ignatieff Theatre in Toronto.  As a professional accompanist, she has collaborated with some of opera's most distinguished artists in recital, most notably the late legendary bass Jerome Hines. Ms. Milstein Pucciatti is a protege of Karl Ulrich Schnabel.  In her role as Managing Director, she has established working collaborations with several of New York's well-known artist management agencies, seeking out and discovering emerging artists of great potential to perform with Boheme Opera NJ.
