Clinical Wedding

The Georgian Theater of New York is presenting Irakli Samsonadze's Klinikuri Kordzili, which translates from the Georgian as "Clinical Wedding".

This absurdist surresl comedy has been adapted for the New York stage and is directed by Lia Bakhturidze Sirelson, the acclaimed playwright/director from the Georgian Theater of New York. This theater group is New York's only Georgian repertory company and was created in 2008 by Georgian immigrant artists in New York.

Actors include David Toprakashvili, Tsutsa Kapanadze, Irina Chinashvili, Anri Kalandarishvili, Irakli Lebanidze, Giorgi Narimanidze, Nato Goderdishvili, Lika Sirelson.

The Dancing Crane Company's Georgian Cultural Center is the parent organization for the Georgian Theater of New York as well as the Dancing Crane Georgian Dance Ensemble, the Zekari Georgian Men's Choir and City Song Quartet, the Magnolia Women's Trio and a large cultural program for children.
