Compassion for Pets [C4P] is a Chicago 501[c][3] organization founded by local veterinarian Amir Shanan, a nationally recognized animal end-of-life care pioneer and leader. Compassion For Pets is dedicated to educating animal lovers about the benefits of animal hospice and keeping family pets comfortable at the end of life. Compassion For Pets offers a variety of programs to help pets and their owners through the challenges of the time when a pet is seriously or terminally ill.
