Ethel's intimate story and her inspirational wisdom will change your life forever.
Come celebrate San Anselmo's treasured Ethel Seiderman and support her legacy, the Ethel Seiderman Institute for Excellence in Early Education at the College of Marin. Join us for wine and hors d'oeuvres. Enjoy the film featured at the Mill Valley Film Festival in 2016, "A Love Poem to My Friend Ethel." Join the conversation with filmmaker Wendy Slick after the film.
Ethel founded the Seiderman Institute at COM to fulfill her vision that "Every child deserves the opportunity to attend a high quality early childhood program, with teachers knowledgeable in child development and early learning. This is the kind of strong start that prepares children to succeed." The Seiderman Institute creates a forum for experienced early childhood educators to collaborate, spend time with well-informed, distinguished experts and engage in ongoing professional development.
The Glass Group of Engel and Völkers Real Estate is pleased to sponsor and support this event in honor of our friend Ethel.
Doors open at 5:30 and film showing starts at 6:30.
If you are unable to attend the event but would like to make a donation to the Seiderman Institute, please visit the College of Marin Advancement Office webpage at advancement.marin.edu
