Come meet other movie fans and see a quality foreign film!
Surprisingly, despite being a critical and box office hit in the Czech Republic, director Slávek Horák's bittersweet comedy/drama "Home Care" has apparently never had an actual theatrical run in NYC. (However, it was shown last year at the Museum of the Moving Image.)
(Oh, and there will also be free seltzer and chocolate....)

SYNOPSIS:
Vlasta (Mihulová) is a home care nurse in her 50's who spends all her time taking care of others: her patients, her husband Lada (Polívka), and their grown but emotionally unstable daughter. Then an unexpected medical diagnosis starts her on a journey of self-discovery, and she must learn that she too needs to be taken care of....
