Biography
Hard Rock\Progressive Metal band 'Adjacent To Nothing' is a collision of adrenaline and emotion... embracing both beast and beauty in the pursuit of creative display and emotive release. While their unflinching sound is defined by thick driving guitars, unique percussion, captivating rhythms, and evocative leads, their anthemic vocals soar with devotions of seizing second chances, questioning social norms, unleashing repressed anger, and enduring love and loss. It's music which lures you in, clutches your conscience, and beckons you to grow.
Their latest album "Lessons and Lesions", which was co-produced and engineered with Travis Montgomery (Threat Signal, Meytal, Jeff Loomis), Stetson 'Bucket' Whitworth (Chelsea Grin, Get Scared, Living in Fiction), and Joel Pack (Royal Blis, Broke City), captures a fierceness and sincerity that's lacking in most modern records. And on its heels, ATN is poised to make waves in 2017.

Rikshas sound is affectionately known as throg, a mixture of thrash and progressive. The band can best be compared to groove metal and nu metal bands such as Mudvayne, Tool, Pantera, Coal Chamber, Soulfly, Nothingface, and American Head Charge.
Riksha frontman Palmer states, We couldnt be more excited to be working with Zombie Shark Records and the great bands they represent.
Riksha have released 2 previous studio albums recorded by Bruce Kirby at Boho Digitalia Studios - Dream Drops Red released through Dark Harvest Records and the independently released Night Begins. Riksha burned up the underground metal scene in 2012, winning Project Independents Industry Panel Favorite voted on by a panel of producers, A&R reps, and record company owners. Since then, the band has purchased a 1973 Eagle Tour Bus and has hit the road throughout the US. Riksha is currently making plans to tour the U.S. in support of their upcoming release.
