Jay Ungar and Molly Mason in Concert
On Saturday, May 20th at 7:30 p.m. Tompkins Corners Cultural Center will present Jay Ungar and Molly Mason in Concert.

Jay and Molly will return to TCCC after their sold-out concert last year and we recommend purchasing tickets early! Tickets will be on sale here at Brown Paper Tickets until 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 20. If you want to purchase tickets after that, please call 845 528-7280 to reserve seats or send an email to info@tompkinscorners.org.

They have been active as musicians, presenters and sponsors in the Hudson Valley for the last thirty years or so. Their long list of accomplishments includes creating the Fiddle and Dance Camp at Ashokan in Olivebridge, NY, which now is active year-round.

Their music has been heard in several Ken Burn's documentaries for PBS including the haunting Ashokan Farewell which became the main theme of The Civil War miniseries. Their tunes are known worldwide and played and recorded by hundreds of performers. They have made appearances on Prairie Home Companion, CBS Good Morning, BBC'S outstanding series  Trans Atlantic Sessions, The Rosie O'Donnell Show and All Things Considered, and Jay, who was part of the Putnam String County Band that performed in Putnam Valley and toured, gave concerts and played at many local square dances, has won a Grammy along the way.

For our TCCC concert, Jay and Molly will mix it up on guitar, fiddle, bass and keyboard and play a mix of Cajun, Old Time, Swing, Jazz, Bluegrass, Celtic and some surprises. TCCC will offer refreshments and guests can mingle with performers in our informal setting in the Historic 1891 Tompkins Corners Church.

Tickets are $20 and will be available for purchase until Saturday, May 20th at 3 pm or when they sell out. After that, call 845 528-7280 to get on a waiting list.

For further information, email info@tompkinscorners.org or leave a message at 845 528-7280.
