***  STEVEN CRAIG GOODWIN with NAOMI LAVIOLETTE ***

Our APRIL 7th Concert completely SOLD OUT....

So we planned another one so that more of our
family and friends can experience this magic!

Proudly presenting Steven Craig Goodwin's 1st CD

                                           THE NATURE OF LOVE

                                                * * * * * * * * * *

THE NATURE OF LOVE is the culmination of a year of hard work and dedication by a loving team and many others who have simply wished to be part of the magic.  The title of Steven Goodwin's first CD reflects his intense love of nature and his concern about the our earthly environment.  Additionally, Steven radiates love and he reflects daily on the importance of both love and nature in his life and for all creatures that inhabit our planet.

TALENT & HEART:  Steven Craig Goodwin, composer, lyricist and pianist has been creating music for over 50 years.  His music is "the soundtrack of our childhood" according to his children and "the reflections of his soul", according to his wife, Joni.  Only after Steven was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's Disease, was it realized that little of his music was ever written down or recorded.

HEART & TALENT: Naomi LaViolette, a personal friend of the Goodwin family, is a Portland-based musician who stepped forward to help.  With deep roots in classical music and a master's degree in classical piano performance, Naomi was a natural fit.  With love and a generous heart, Naomi began the process of assisting Steven to recover pieces of his "musical soul" that were fading away.

The MAGIC: Steven provided Naomi bits and pieces of his music that had formerly flowed from his fingers with ease.  Naomi miraculously used her technical training and her heart-felt musical intuition and together they brought Steven's music back to life.  Without Naomi, there would be no magic and none of Steve's amazing music would be saved or known to the world.

Our gratitude to Naomi will live forever, as will Steven's music.

"I simply KNEW that I needed to be part of the Project.
...It was the right thing to do!"

"Naomi's musical magic has kept our father's music from fading away.
...How can we ever thank her?"

                     "WOW!... That's BEAUTIFUL...That's ART!"

"Naomi is giving Steven back pieces of his musical soul.
                     ...WHAT A GIFT!"

"People are drawn to the Project.... It's as though A HIGHER FORCE
is bringing people and energy together to make this magic happen.
We are truly filled with gratitude."

The SAVING HIS MUSIC PROJECT is a collaborative inspiration founded by love and fueled by hope.  At the very core of the project itself is the music of Steven Goodwin, an incredibly humble and talented Oregon composer, lyricist & musician.

With the heart, courage and musical magic of Portland's own Naomi LaViolette, which enabled Steven's music to be brought back, Naomi's talents are allowing the music that was fading away to come to light and be preserved forever.

AND now the music and this special journey are ready to be shared with the world.
