BRÜKA THEATRE 24TH SEASON THE THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE

The Invitational Slam is a Powerful Production of youth poetry, which will qualify our top five youth poets for the Brave New Voices Festival--a national youth platform for poetry.

Over the last six months teens from around the Reno/Sparks area have been writing, revising, critiquing, and rehearsing poetry to perform at monthly poetry slams (a competition of poetic wits). Through every workshop, performance, and slam they have earned points to qualify them for The Invitational Slam.

ABOUT BRÜKA THEATRE In its 24th season in downtown Reno, Brüka has been named Best Theatre Company by The News and Review nineteen years running. Brüka Theatre is a leader in the region, recognized for its productions, artists and theatre for children series since its founding in 1992.
