The Last Five Years (Really Spicy Opera)
Jason Robert Brown's stirring musical The Last Five Years is a featured part of Really Spicy Opera's Spring 2017 tour! Catch the show for two pre-tour engagements in Minneapolis before we hit the road!
This emotionally powerful and intimate musical tells the stories two New Yorkers in their 20s who fall in and out of love over the course of 5 years. The show's unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show. (Also an Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan film, but this is way better.)
Come see the magic twice, with a different cast each performance. Featuring Nicole Korbisch and Suzie Juul as Cathy and Austin Stole and Steven Halloin as Jamie.
