The University of Washington School of Dentistry Bite Open is an annual golf tournament that supports the Student Council Community Engagement Grant. The event will be hosted at The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge in Redmond, WA, and will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2017.
The University of Washington School of Dentistry is a leading provider of care for underserved populations in the state of Washington. As students, we take pride in providing for those who may otherwise be left without treatment. As a student body, we have committed to participating in many community outreach events aimed at education and treatment for underserved communities. From pediatric events where we educate parents on the importance of fluoride and regular dental screenings, to running a mobile clinic in Skagit Valley, we are committed to bettering the oral health of our community. This year alone we have been able to provide over 800 hours of service to our local community, amounting to thousands of healthier smiles.
All funds raised will benefit our Student Council Community Engagement Grant, which supports the outreach efforts we have established to connect with our local community via funding of supplies and transportation.
Note: if you are registering as an individual but wish to play with specific other golfers, please note this when you check out in the question box. Otherwise you may email slc19@uw.edu. Due to the nature of the website and ticket sales, foursomes with some students and some non-students must register as individuals and complete this question box. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
