The Jazz Room Presents Acoustic Night
The Jazz Room is happy to debut Acoustic Night in the Art Gallery at Village Theatre in Danville! The Jazz Room was created with a desire to provide a platform for International Talent and bring together local emerging talent, and talented students to share music and experience extended learning through musical collaborations and performance.
The evening will feature 4 acts featuring selections and styles from Jazz, indie, blue, bluegrass and contemporary pop.
Local talented High School students Guitarist Jacob Galdes and Bassist Katie Munger will perform a set of Jazz classics. This duo performs throughout the Bay Area and performed on the main stage
at Village Theatre for the Jazz Room kick off Concert in January!
Colombian jazz singer Susana Pineda, a soon to be graduating student from the California Jazz Conservatory is an emerging artist of Opaluna. For this night she will perform basso nova style tunes with Zach Mondlick playing the Cajon.
The Bay Area based Trio Jubilee Road will perform a set featuring songs with close harmonies and acoustic stylings. Band members Sue Miller, Theresa Madeira and Loren Dummett
Soloist Paul McKnight and member of Bay Areas Special Blend Vocal Ensemble will perform some
Beatles tunes and standards in the acoustic style followed by Host and Founder of The Jazz Room and Nationslly acclaimed singer Eve Marie Shahoian who will perform a few Jazz standards accompanied by Jacob Galde's and Katie Munger.
