DB Comedy, Chicagos only sketch comedy company devoted solely to political satire, proudly presents its 2017 season: THE ELECTABLES SKETCH COMEDY FOR PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD HAMILTON. DB Comedy opens THE ELECTABLES with PART I: THE ORIGIN STORIES FROM WASHINGTON TO BUCHANAN.
With THE ELECTABLES, DB Comedys Writers of Wrongs and Actors of Evil devote the entire 2017 season to taking you through all 45 (more or less) Presidents, in the hopes of mining laughter out of seeing the Republic on the brink of catastrophe. Starting with the Founding Fathers, THE ORIGIN STORIES brings you original world-premiere sketch comedy that takes us to the brink of the Civil War.
THE ELECTABLES I: THE ORIGIN STORIES opens Tuesday, April 4, and performs every Tuesday through May 2 at MARYS ATTIC, 5400 North Clark Street, above Hamburger Marys in beautiful downtown Andersonville.
April 4 is Industry Night, where professionals in the theatre, nonprofit, and political industries pay-what-you-can with proper credentials. And, as DB Comedy always does, most performances feature worthy Causes Celebre local nonprofits who get half of every ticket when you mention them.
