Almost, Maine for the ACLU
A TBG Student Reading of Almost, Maine by John Cariani, with all profits going to the ACLU!
Directed by Charlotte Grady. Produced by Emma Lieberman.
Almost, Maine is a story about love, loss, and the ways we discover ourselves in an average small town in northern Maine. With a diverse cast and an unpretentious outlook, this production will prove that, regardless of skin color, background, or religion, we're all Americans experiencing the universal human condition together.
And for those of us who like to just experience the intense emotion of a play, as John Cariani himself says: "The sentimental person thinks things will last - the romantic person has a desperate confidence that they won't." - F. Scott Fitzgerald Almost, Maine is a play for romantics.
