COLA Lecture Series Part 1
COLA is bringing together local dog adoption and behavior experts to help community members form a realistic picture of what goes into dog ownership. Kara Main-Hester from the Seattle Animal Shelter will start the event with a lecture presenting a realistic picture of what dog ownership entails, and then after a brief intermission, she will be joined by local trainer Gretchen Hager, representatives from Emerald City Pet Rescue, and adoption specialists from PUP Dog Rescue for a town hall discussion with the audience to answer any remaining questions. Refreshments will be available during the intermission.
