Cheers to History Summer Social (R.O.C.C. meets B.H.C.)
This event will begin at 10am with an hour-long historical presentation titled Ruling the Roost: Readings Social Heyday. The purpose of the session is to exploring the city's forgotten social scene, including Mt. Penns Gravity Railroad Wine Trail and the infamous Kuechlers Roost.
Talk by freelance food & drink writer, Mike Madaio.
Then, from 11am-4pm, we present Cheers to History: Summer Social. An opportunity to re-imagine Readings high society heyday with an exclusive, period-inspired event hosted by Reading Occasional Cocktail Club. Enjoy music, cocktails, and food as well as guided tours of the Berks History Center.
