Scott & Melissa Fischel are thrilled to invite you to our home to experience an initmate donation-based house concert featuring Veronica May with Randi Driscoll opening.
Veronica has racked up significant achievements in the music world over the years including winning Best Acoustic at the 2008 San Diego Music Awards and Best New Folk Songwriting at the 2014 Kerrville Folk Festival with her former Lovebirds partner, and directing the Clairemont High School Glee Club.
Diagnosed with Bipolar 1 Disorder in 2007 and having overcome several psychotic breaks, Veronica May comes to the stage with many unique gifts. Her lifes mission is to bring hope to all people struggling in silence with a diagnosis that goes undetected by the naked eye; to give a voice to the people who feel too vulnerable to tell their story. Veronica brings the heart of her extraordinary journey into music that will stir your thoughts, feelings, and spirit.
She is an incredible voice and talent and you can hear her at our home before her album is released later in May (May 27th Album Release Party at the Casbah). From the very first note, she grabs your attention and your heart. Trust us, you do not want to miss this opportunity.
