Twelve semifinalists compete during the day for a performance slot in the Finals Concert and a chance to win cash prizes and performance awards. Semifinalist performances are on the half hour between 9 am and 4 pm - free and open to the public.
Master Classes with the 2017 Stulberg Judges and local musicians are also free and open to the public. These classes take place in Dalton Center on the WMU campus on Sunday, May 14, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Competition judges David Kim, violin; Yizhak Schotten, viola; and Amit Peled, cello, will preside.
