Spring Herbs & Self Care Talk with Max Turk

In this talk, we will discuss materia medica about several herbs that are beneficial for the body in the rejuvenating season of the spring!

We will also discuss some helpful natural ways of handling Spring allergy symptoms, and embracing the energy of the season.

You will be able to participate in making your own tonic that you can take home and use!

The talk will happen on April 10th, 2017 from 7 p.m. for about 1.5 hours.

Max Turk is an emerging herbalist originally from New York. She moved to Portland four years ago to pursue a masters in Leadership for Sustainability Education. Her passion for the healing power of plants catapulted her into the beginning of her apothecary called Roots & Crowns. What began as a hobby has quickly grown into a fully handmade line of organic herbal products serving the community. From the positive feedback she's received from customers around the world, Max is excited to keep creating and sharing the inspiration she gleans from the plants. Her intention simply put is "plant power to the people."
