Tobacco Road Dance Productions: In Concert 2017
In its third season, Tobacco Road Dance Productions: In Concert showcases the multidisciplinary, the gritty, and the nearly-local. Stacy Wolfson and Curtis Eller blur the lines of singer, dancer and instrument in a duet borne of bad dreams. Anna Barker explores themes of helplessness while Dana Livermore mines conflicting tropes of femininity. Jade Poteat presents a dance for five about asserting identity, while Charlotte-based Audrey Baran explores moving meditation. An octet by Marsha Thomas ebbs and flows, offering contrast between its strength and its softness.
April 14th at 7:00pm; April 15th at 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
$15 / $13 seniors and students.
