Barbara Weldon Retirement Gala at CTW
Barbara Weldon and Lu Sunkel founded Children's Theatre of Winnetka (CTW) in 1974 at Winnetka Community House. During those 43 years Barbara directed 47 musicals including such classics as Music Man, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, Annie Get Your Gun, Oklahoma and The Sound of Music. The evening will be filled with CTW alumni coming back to celebrate her retirement and perform from the shows she directed as well as contemporary musical theatre classics. Performers include Stephen Schellhardt, Betsy Morgan , Chris Yonan and Elizabeth Lyons as well as other alumni who have volunteered to celebrate this wonderful evening.
A reception will follow.
