ABOUT PETE BLOHME
A life-long lover of food, Pete Blohme's fascination with the culinary arts took him all the way to the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), where he honed his skills and truly found his passion in the kitchen. Following his graduation from the CIA in 1988, Pete worked in a variety of kitchens--including a position as the executive chef at the University of Alabama!--and soon enough began work on his first ownership project, a restaurant chain with his brother-in-law, Bob Baumhower. Finally after many years in kitchens and restaurants, Pete's dream of opening his own restaurant came true: he opened Panini Pete's Cafe and Bakeshop in Fairhope, Alabama in February of 2006. Since then, Panini Pete and his delicious food have made headlines across Alabama and the United States. Pete has been featured on shows like Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, and Guy's Big Bite on the Food Network, as well as CMT's Sweet Home Alabama. Pete has also gone on tour with Guy Fieri's Traveling Roadshow, traversing the United States and Canada for some of the best eats out there. Pete also hosts a web series called Small Town Flavor, available for viewing on YouTube! Outside of overseeing operations at various Panini Pete's locations, Pete is a founding member of the MESSLORDS, a group that visits various military bases in the United States and abroad, with the intention of providing entertainment, education, and fun to boost the morale of those in the United States Armed Services. Pete and his team of Messlords offer cooking demos, culinary shows, entertainment, and of course good eats to the men and women who selflessly serve our country.

ABOUT EXECUTIVE CHEF DUANE NUTTER
Nutter began his culinary career in 1994, studying under well-respected Chef Daryl Evans at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta. Nutter went on to work at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach, Fla. before making his next big move in 2004 to Louisville, Kentucky's Seelbach Hilton's Oakroom. The Oakroom is one of only 48 AAA Five-Diamond restaurants in the world. Nutter became chef de cuisine and received incredible reviews, especially on his complex interpretations of seemingly simple dishes. He continually enjoys surprising guests with new twists on old favorites. In 2006, Nutter was invited to compete on the Food Network's Iron Chef America and he cooked at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City the following year. He has been praised in a variety of highly-regarded publications such as Garden & Gun, Men's Journal, Delta Sky Magazine, Condé Nast Traveler and Details.

In 2008, with a new vision and challenge in mind, Nutter accepted the position as One Flew South's executive chef and used his imaginative execution to blend southern ingredients with world travel influences into the dishes for the first upscale travel-dining restaurant in the world's busiest airport. Diners at One Flew South enjoy spirited global fare featuring premium ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. Additionally, the restaurant serves clever cocktails and an exceptional to-go menu.

In 2016, Nutter will relocate to Mobile, Ala. to open Southern National with restaurateur and friend, Reggie Washington. Slated to open this April, Nutter looks forward to offering Mobile a taste of his award-winning 'Southern National' cuisine. In addition to his innovative culinary talent, Nutter has a knack for his hobby as a standup comedian. He was a semi-finalist in Comedy Central's Laugh Riots and was known around Atlanta as the hilarious Mad Chef. These days, Nutter will occasionally perform in a comedy club, but spends most of his time mastering his ability in the kitchen.

ABOUT RESTAURATEUR REGGIE WASHINGTON
Washington was lured at an early age into the culinary world when his passion for the industry and food was recognized. He has shaped his style and depth of knowledge in the industry for over 24 years. With a wealth of culinary and operational experience, Washington introduced his talent and level of service to One Flew South, Marriott Marquis, Colony Square Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Atlanta Hyatt Regency and as Executive chef to the first family of Alabama Governor Fob James. Additionally, Washington held the honor of combining his rich passion for southern-inspired cuisine and southern hospitality to guests at the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga. as Executive chef at Club Magnolia. In the spring of 2017, Washington looks forward to returning to his hometown of Mobile, Ala. to open his newest venture, Southern National.
