Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes
Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes are celebrating their fifth year as New Jerseys indie folk powerhouse. From coffee-shop beginnings in 2011, they have launched into success both on the air and on the ground. Their second album, 2016s Welcoming the Flood, gathered rave reviews and top-charting airplay, and the band continues to expand its touring range throughout the Northeast. They have been dubbed wizards and musical scamps by the folk music press and they deftly adapt their big, catchy, complex sound from festival stages to listening rooms.
With their infectious love of music, lyrical imagery, and Scotts unconquerable voice soaring above the rich counterpoint laid down by Kirk, Matt, Chris, Mike, and Skyler, Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes set toes tapping and imaginations humming everywhere they go.
Scott and his Heroes caught the attention of Simple Gifts at a Lounge Stage appearance at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. We are pleased and excited to present this extraordinary big sound at Simple Gifts.
Scott Wolfson has been performing and recording professionally from the age of 13. A graduate of NYUs music and theatre programs and a veteran of the NYC indie-folk scene, Scott has honed his songwriting vision among some of the greatest voices and venues of his generation.

Guests attending Simple Gifts Coffee House performances are invited to bring their own beer or wine to enjoy at the concerts. Coffee, tea, and a variety of baked goods are available at each show.
Simple Gifts Coffee House is a non-profit volunteer run concert venue hosting regional and nationally known musical acts for over 25 years. They are long time members of the Boston Area Coffee House Association (BACHA).
