2nd Annual National Muslim American Research Institute Advocating Marriage (M.A.R.I.A.M.) Conference 2017
The Muslim American Research Institute Advocating Marriage, M.A.R.I.A.M., was founded by Imam Faheem Shuaibe, Resident Imam of Masjidul Waritheen in Oakland, California. The purpose of M.A.R.I.A.M. is to increase the quantity and quality of Marriages among Muslim Americans so that they can fulfill the mandates of Al-Islam.
This event, sponsored by Masjidul Waritheen in Oakland, California, is for everyone, youth, adult and senior, to acquire the nuts and bolts of how to go about finding a spouse, how to actively grow and build the marriage relationship, how to tend the garden of that marriage relationship, and, thus create a nurturing womb for the family that might come as a result of the union. Likewise, that womb is to benefit those brought into it as a "blended family". The Conference is for those in strong, stable, solid-as-a-rock marriages as well as for those who are struggling and feeling their marriage is in need of more guidance and sincere advice.
