'Love Thyself'
This retreat will look at how we can develop self-love through yoga and meditation.
Sequences of poses and meditations will take you inward, allow you to explore your anatomy through movement and sensation and push boundaries of what you 'think' is possible. You develop an awareness of yourself. You tune into what your body needs and learn to care for and love your body for what it is not what someone else thinks it should be.
The Wee Retreat is delighted to welcome yoga teacher and therapist Morgan Windram-Geddes to Glasgow's Southside for this event. Having recovered from anorexia, Morgan learned to heal her mind-body connection through yoga. It was through yoga that Morgan has come to learn body acceptance and from there, love.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of practitioner from beginner to teacher and would suit those wanting to explore the practices of lovingkindness through yoga and meditation.
This day retreat is £58 and includes delicious, homemade vegetarian refreshments and lunches.
