Pittsburgh Irish Fiddle and Feet Festival
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of music and dance with some of the world's most renowned Irish traditional artists together in concert.
Featuring:
Brian Conway, premier Irish-American fiddler, performs with a skill, grace and force that are steeped in tradition but distinctively his own. Well known in the Irish/Celtic community, Conway has won numerous All-Ireland fiddling competitions, and has been called one of the best fiddlers of his generation. Nothing is missed or missing in Brian Conway's Sligo-style fiddling. He was named the Irish Echo's Top Trad Artist for 2008.
Kevin Doyle is the recipient of a National Heritage Fellowship in Irish Dance from the National Endowment for the Arts, the highest award for a traditional folk artist in the United States .With more than 57 years of dance under his feet, the tradition has taken him from a White House performance to the prestigious Willie Clancy Summer School in County Clare as a 2015 featured presenter and teacher.

John Williams formed the groundbreaking Solas in 1995 with Seamus Egan, Winifred Horan, Karan Casey and John Doyle, Williams received wider recognition playing to sold out audiences internationally and earning two NAIRD awards and Grammy nominations. U.S. audiences recognize Williams from numerous appearances on Mountain Stage, A Prairie Home Companion and The Grand Ol' Opry as well as guest performances with The Chieftains, Nickel Creek, and Riverdance.
And local fiddle and dance talent from the greater Pittsburgh area.
