Music for Change 2017

At Toms River High School North, we are committed to teaching the students that every thing you do can have a positive effect on the world around you. The TRN Chorus hosts this annual fundraiser event in which students use their talents to support a local charity.

The performance itself is comprised of student-organized solos, duets, and small groups of mostly popular music. Students choose and rehearse their music with guidance from Choir Director, Chris Loeffler.

50% of the proceeds from this year's event will be used to support The Frances Foundation, a great charity with the mission of helping children who are fighting cancer and providing assistance to their families.

The other 50% will go towards supporting the TRN Chorus mission of providing a quality music education to the students of Toms River HS North. Recent funds have been used to establish a full recording studio in the chorus room to foster the growth of creativity in the students.
