Start-it School: Idea2biz
A business is a series of steps that can be repeated, which will bring revenue if repeated, and where each step can be measured so to increase revenue over time. In this hands-on business development series, you'll attend four 6 hour workshops, and four 1 hour private consults which will work around your schedule. Upon completion, you'll have a business model and business plan, website, and a supportive community.
Our topics during Sunday workshop will include:
1. How to pick the right business idea or build the idea you have.
2. How to create a brand and develop basic digital marketing skills.
3. How to create a business model & business plan.
4. How to manage a basic website. *website & hosting included!*
Start-it School was created and is hosted by Léan La Roche Perrell. Léan has consulted with startups for over five years and has worked in business development for over ten years, working with world class startups, including those who graduated from the prestigious Y-combinator program.
Léan believes everyone can create a business they love to work in, a business that comes from the creators own personal values and life experience, which fully integrates the person with the business world they create. She enjoys creating business models that help minority or disadvantaged groups. She's here to help people get organized, work better, & create with a higher chance of success while recommending the best and most cost-effective tools.
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we provide Start-it School at what is considered a low investment for a 4-day professional development program, 4 hours private consulting, plus a personal website and hosting service. $640 USD. If you participate in the program and complete the coursework, then it adds up to just $11 per hour!
