"ColorStruck:With the Skin I'm In!"
The award-winning Northeast Performing Arts Group (NEPAG) will present their 37th annual Black Awareness production ColorStruck: With the Skin Im In! for two performances on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Annabelle Ferguson auditorium, located at 5200 Silver Hill Road, Forestville, Maryland 20747.

ColorStruck: With the Skin I'm In! is a thought-provoking dance musical (dansical) wrapped in the effervescence and energy of the Northeast Performing Arts Group. Come experience an educational expression of history, human behavior, images of color and change. See how today's youth overcome the destructive forces of color bias and create hope for embracing humanity.  This dansical is told through the eyes of children through dance. Please join us and be entertained, educated and uplifted by performers ranging from ages three through adult.

Performances will be held on Friday, February 24  11:30 a.m. (for general public, schools, seniors, and city officials --$7 in advance/$10 at the door, groups of 15 or more must RSVP by Friday, February 17) and 7:30 p.m. evening performance --$20 in advance/$25 at the door.

Tickets can be purchased at the NEPAG Dance Studio located at 3431 Benning Road, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20019 and online at http://nepagcolorstruck2017matinee.eventbrite.com and http://nepagcolorstruck2017.eventbrite.com.

The NEPAG is celebrating 37 years and is a nationally known 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the lives of youth through exposure to the performing arts. The NEPAG has received the As They Grow Award of Excellence, the Good Housekeeping Seal from Parents Magazine; presented at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on the Anniversary of the Center for Neighborhood Enterprises; is the recipient of the Mayors Arts Award for Excellence in Service to the Arts, and has been featured in the Catalogue for Philanthropy of Greater Washington: A Guide to Givingrecognized as "one of the best small charities in the Greater Washington Region."
