GoodLife Pharmacomm Merger Celebration and Product Launch!!!
A multimedia performance piece written by Sheila Regan and directed by Macelle Mahala"The play is a satire that takes the form of a product launch in the not-too-distant future. The worlds two remaining corporations have merged and are announcing the release of their latest product, Mindlink, an implantable brain web. After demonstrating the features of Mindlink, the CEOs brain gets hacked by guerrilla activists that urge the audience to rebel and escape. The performance includes live action and several filmed commercials for the corporations other products." Macelle MahalaApril 2nd is a Pay-As-You-Wish Performance +"Science Fiction and The Performative Imaginary" symposium and reception following the performance featuring playwright Sheila Regan, and humanities faculty Eric Sonstroem and George Randels.
