Hassan's CD Release Party and Farewell Concert
Hey Friends,
My new solo album In the Folds is officially done and now it's time to party. I'm SOOO stoked. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.
To celebrate the creation of this album I'm doing a release concert at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond, CA Thursday February 23rd at 8pm. This location holds special significance as I've been teaching music at the center for years along with the amazing piano player featured on this recording, Dana Salzman. It's also a really fun place to see music with Bart access and plenty of parking!!
This show is special for another reason. It will actually be my last show in the Bay Area before I move to Chicago in March. My years in the Bay Area have been absolutely wonderful, inspiring, life changing, and I'll miss you all. I've learned so much from all of you and I'm better for it. I hope I've done the same for you too.

Lastly, huge thanks to Tom Size. This was Tom's last recording project before passing away tragically of cancer. What an absolute gem of a human being and an amazing talent. I put a dedication to Tom on the back of this album as a tribute to this wonderful human. What a huge loss to our community. He lives on forever in the beautiful music he has created over the years.
