There is every variety of lighthouses within easy reach of New London harbor. New London Maritime Society owns three of them, and each summer provides a variety of lighthouse boat tours from June through October.
Take a memorable 55-minute ride to view the three picturesque lighthouses of New London Harbor: New London Harbor 'Pequot' Light a classic octagon, the oldest and tallest lighthouse on Long Island Sound; 1909 brick New London Ledge Light reputed home to Erie the ghost; and Avery Point Light built in 1943, the newest & shortest lighthouse in Connecticut. The boat takes six passengers, only.
NLMS received the title 'Best Lighthouse Tour' from Yankee Magazine for our 55-minute tour of the three harbor lights. We also offer sunset and moonlight tours of the lighthouses. See the museum website for the tour schedule.

Ful-Moon lighthouse tours depart at dusk from the floating dock adjacent to City Pier behind the New London Train Station, at the foot of State Street, New London, Connecticut.
Tours last approximately 55 minutes.
Reservations are strongly recommended.
Wear deck shoes or sneakers.

$40 adults, $35 NEFA attendees, NLMS members & seniors, $30 children 6 to 12.
Ticket includes free admission to the Custom House Maritime Museum ($7 value) and a 10% discount in the Museum Shop.
Tickets are non-refundable unless there is a weather cancellation. All tours are weather dependent. Please check your email inbox prior to departing for the dock. We will notify you by email if the tour is canceled.
Food and drink, with the exception of water, is NOT permitted on the boat. For safety reasons, NO alcoholic beverages are permitted.
